Can you guys give me a list of writings that indicated the existence of the civilized pre-colonial Philippines, how they described pre-colonial Philippines or telling that we had contact to other countries of ancient Asia like China, Japan, Malaysia, India, Thailand(Siam), Vietnam and so on and maybe from ancient Africa/Mediterranean/Islamic countries if there is some?
At the moment I only know that we, as in not all Filipinos as a whole, totally had contact with other countries or ethnicities that immigrated to the ancient Philippines like the Chinese, Japanese, Tatars, Bruneian Muslims, Vietnamese and Siamese(Thai) people because of the Boxer Codex that had illustrations not only of those people mentioned before but also of how the ancient Filipinos dressed, that wore many gold. Information about ancient Philippines are so western-centric and there is not much said how other Asian countries saw us from their text, if there is any, it is most the time how they called our land like that they called us Land of Gold or anything that has something to do with gold.
