PETALING JAYA: The debris found on the Mauritian Island of Rodrigues is believed to originate from the interior of an aircraft, according to the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA).
Its director-general Datuk Seri Azharuddin Abdul Rahman said the debris, which was found on Sunday, was being transported to Mauritius's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
"DCA Malaysia is in communication with the CAA of Mauritius and efforts are being made to retrieve the debris," he said.
